Excellent phone for talking - a few neat perks

This is definitely not a smart phone nor one for web browsing and pictures. It does OK with music. It's real strengths are:
1. size - excellent form and fit. solid feel, easy to hold and listen to calls. fits well in pocket.
2. call quality - great reception. clear voice.
3. nice little extras.
The calculator is very quick to access and use. No fumbling to find it and work it.
The Alarms - 5 are offered. Easy to program and name.

I prefer this phone over the 4 BlackBerrys (including the Tour and the Bold) I have had.
Downside s-
1. My wife did NOT like it, that his how I ended up with it.
2. I have had this phone replaced 3 times over the last 5 years, mostly due to software glitches. It have stable now for a good while.

First and foremost it works GREAT as a PHONE. After all, isn't that it's primary function? I can check my email with no problem.. I can text faster with this phone than most can with a qwerty pad.. To move in and out of the different functions of the phone and camera and TV and email. is very intuitive with this phone. You can KEEP all your Blackberries and iPhones. I had one and hated it. and had people forever saying " What did you say?" Make it a PHONE first. Good Job Motorola.. All the other stuff is secondary.

HATE IT WITH A PASSION

I have been with Sprint for about 7-8 yrs and this is the 1st phone that I have absolutely HATED!!! I cant wait till i can get rid of this phone. I have been asking people do they have another sprint phone just so i can rid of this thing! Please don't get this phone even if it is FREE!!!

I have had this phone for two years and i can't wait to get rid of it. At first, I loved it because of it's sleek design and before that, I had a big clunky nextel. The phone is slow. It takes a few seconds even before the phone starts dialing. If you want to upload pictures to your picture account, forget it, it takes too long. A few of the buttons have worn out from texting and when I text, it will spell out the wrong words, the buttons will not register and the space doesn't work well. I am not a huge texter, and I would love to text much more but I really dread texting on this phone! I haven't tried adding a lot of media to it, because (1) it seems too hard and (2) the phone is slow anyway....why use it for media? The only good thing about the phone is the look and the size.

A client had this phone, and I went crazy for it. Would not stop until my husband purchased it $270 after the so called "credit', and I am still waiting on that rebate 2 years later.
I actually don't even have the energy to go into detail on how much I hate this phone. And on how much I'm resenting Sprint for not replacing it with something else of equal value, being that everyone that owns it hates it.
The main problem is the battery..........

The phone worked when I first got it had to be replaced four times. The battery is not worth a call using the features with out the charger on hand will end your phone use until you do charge it. I had to leave it on the charger and carry my charger where ever I went. It would freeze all the time call random numbers. If you have pics save to a memory card because you may lose the ability to send or save them after a while. Blue tooth will work at times, most features have a delay. Also the center button will come off in a short time. I've been with sprint over four years this phone gave me the most problems out of any of the phones I had.

I am so ready to get rid of this phone!!! Every function has a 4 to 5 second delay and the battery life is horrible. After charging the phone to full charge, I had a phone call which lasted 9 minutes and the phone went completely dead! From the time I dial a number to actually talking to that person takes at least 45 seconds. Trying to be the first caller for any contest is definately out of the question. I hate to think if I had to call 911 in an extreme emergency...........

Horrible Phone

I wanted this phone so bad and i bugged my parents like crazy until they bought it for me. At first i loved the phone but im a teenage girl and i text allll the time and download ringers and songs alot. After a few weeks the phone started getting slower and slower. The battery didnt last long at all! If i was calling somebody i would have already typed the 7number digit in and it was just showing the first number i typed!(that is how slow it was) Then a few months later when i would try texting somebody it would like go crazy and just put random numbers and letters up ther like this kdjf9n28hndf and would not let me type what i needed to type! Was the worst phone ive ever had!!!

What was I thinking.....I guess I wasn't. I love to google stuff all the time. Never accured to me to google the phone I wanted. Well I don't want it any more. I have all the same issues as all the other reviews have stated and had I known this before I would of just kept the old Nokia I had. There are ONLY 3 good things about the phone that I can attest to, and it might just be a fluke, but the battery has been good to me, it's small, and I can get a signal where most people can't in certain areas.

Don't do it..

Sprint customer for 10 years. This is my third phone. I change phones every 4 years due to advances in tech. Well, I love the GPS, Music Store, TV and News stuff Sprint offers. This phone when it's working properly, is good. The call quality is the best I've experienced. However, the battery is HORRIBLE. Bluetooth stinks, and the GPS receiver will drain your battery in 30 Min flat. After one year, I'm so-so about it! Next summer will get a new phone. If I can last that long! But darn it's beautiful and the craftsmanship is above the rest.

this is a nice looking phone but the battery life is horrible.the buttons often gets stuck and the dail tone is extended.delays.

WORST PHONE EVER.

My phone worked great at first, but when it got loaded with ringtones and videos, the phone slowed down.
I had 2 of these. The first one, my screen broke. Then my second one, it worked well, then its started lagging again. It loads very slow and at times, the phone freezes. THIS PHONE SUCKS.

A Waste Of Money

This is the worst phone i ever had. The battery is down to one bar after one call. A VERY slow phone. It cuts off by itself, and when it comes back on all of my assigned ringtones are back to the normal plain ones that come with the phone. When i go into my pictures it take many many seconds to load and sometimes the pictures delete on their own. Times when i be texting or talking on the phone, it will just freeze up. I will never buy a motorola phone again.

Looks great but it is the slowest phone ever! Very delayed. Develops lines across the screen after a while and very poor battery life. Missed calls and voice mails. Second time Motorola has let me down!

This phone will not stay charged, turns itself off at times and will not come back on. I paid way too much money for what I got in this phone. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.

I mostly bought this because it was so small, which is what I wanted. Looks nice, too. However, I think Motorola tried to pack too many features into this phone...menus are hard to navigate, features are hard to access, not to mention that the battery life STINKS (some days the battery won't even last 12 hours, and that's with less than 30 minutes of talking), found out that I could briefly remove the battery and then it works OK for a while after putting it back in). It freezes up constantly...it's great for phone calls but not much else. I believe that Nokia has held the advantage with phones that are easy to use. I haven't even had this phone for a year and I can't wait 'til my obligation is over so I can upgrade.
If yo're looking for something stylish, then this is a great phone, but as far as functionality and reliability, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!
