I will be so delighted when my CONTRACT is over!!! The download speed is so horrible, maybe its because of where I live (Chicago) or my computer (Sony Vaio). If you have ever seen the Comcast commericals with the Slowskis (hope I spelled the name rihgt) thats what i'm dealing with. Truly HATE Sprint's Ovation U727 Novatel Wireless device.

Works great! I can't complain about anything. The only thing that I miss from my other phone is the Camera, but with all of the extra features, I can miss the camera. The internet is not as fast as I thought it would be but overall it is perfect for me.

Like many of the other reviews, works great, very easy to use, looks good. However... it is not a "broadband" device. It simply is not quite that fast. I get download speeds of 1 meg per minute. Much slower than my last DSL account.
It is very simple and easy to use. Just don't rely on getting really "fast" connection speeds.
I have recommended the product to family members and will continue to do so, while also mentioning the slower connection speeds.

Great wireless USB device. Works 100% of the time, even when in doors, which my previous card from another carrier always failed. I use it for work to access the net for real estate related work which is very important to access when on the go with clients. At times, the access is slightly slow, probably due to bandwidth traffic. The software is great and it can be set to connect as soon as you click on the driver application or at boot-up. The GPS part of it is not as easy to use since it provides the the coordinates, but you may need a 3rd party software app. to work in real time or turn by turn voice directions as with a dedicated unit. The GPS works when it has a view of the sky, which I thought it would work as a regular phone aGPS using cell towers and or GPS satalite signals. Over all, a great buy and very reliable! Highly recomend this product and especially the Sprint network!

Easy, fast, stays connected and small. LOVE IT. The only problem I have has is that the little cap that comes with it is easy to loose. It should have a little cord to keep it attached. Far better than I imagined.

I had 1 an it when out.So i got 1 more an it still not working.I drive a truck an need it.But it will no work so i when to Alltell for 1 that will work.

This device works well. It is slow when I first use it in the morning but once I make the first connection it works great after that. It is small and handy to carry.

Sprint connection

$60 dollars a month for unlimited connection, your gonna need it with the connection speed slower than dial up. I don't think it's the fault of the U727 it's self. More a problem with Sprint.

This product is great. Plug and play is clearly an understatement. At first, I installed the CD and for whatever reason it was taking about 25 mins. after another 3 mins I just stopped the CD install and plugged in the U727...it instantly set up my DELL laptop to accept it's programming and I have been enjoying the device for 3 weeks now.
The unlimited service is cheaper than a land line with internet (in my neighborhood) plus I get to go to any room or on the road with this device - anywhere there is Sprint. which is almost everywhere.
The accessories are a nice bonus...as I get to hang the U727 on top of the lid for even better reception.

Easy, fast, tiny

This card is tiny, easy to carry and use. I've used in in a variety of locations in 3 states, always getting fast connections. I used it at my house when my cable service was down. I've used it at more than one hotel that advertised free internet and it outperformed the free wired internet in the rooms. It's always provided good service on the sprint network.

We installed this modem on three computers, two desktops and one laptop with no problems whatsoever. We didn't even need the installation CD or to make a call to Sprint. It is affordable it connects quickly also connects automatically when you start the computer and I can use it anywhere I have reception. We would recommend the U727 to everyone and anyone.

I installed this modem on two computers, one desktop and one laptop with no problems whatsoever. I didn't even need the installation CD or to make a call to Sprint. The connection has been very fast, close to my cable-modem speeds for downloads. I'm very happy with how easy it is to use!

Works wonderfully on my Apple laptop. It connects quickly and has a high connect speed. I can also switch it between any computer with a USB. NEVER DROPS A CONNECTION!! It can also connect automatically when you start an application.

Great device I can use it anywhere I have reception where is a lot of places. I can transmit video to my website with gps location and out friends can see where we are when we travel as well as viewing what we see ahead of us. I also transmit video and chat during our 69 High School meetings at any location we are at. I plan on broadcasting and chatting during our 40 year class reunion so that the ones that can't make it will be able to see and chat with us. I also use it to watch my home TV Cable via. Slingbox Solo on my laptop where ever I am.
