I bought at least 5 of these phones as work phones, and every one has stopped working at about the 1 year mark. The phones will not stay on. It's not a good value if they don't last.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, slows down
I loved this phone for the time i had it, but after the first year things went wrong. It was great for calls and texting. My phone started to slow down very much after a short time. I had to limit myself to short texts becaus it was so slow. It has no camra (disapointing) but all and all it was an ok phone.

It takes forever to send a text. If you try to use punctuation at all, it will drag for minutes!

Got this phone because it was basic.

Pros: nice and small
Cons: Did not meet expectations, broke before the year was out.
I chose this phone because I was looking for a small candy bar type phone. I really don't like bulky phones, so this one small and compact seemed like a good choice. I don't need a ton of extra features, so I was happy. The battery life was good, and it seemed to suit my needs, but after I'd had it less than a year, the mouthpiece stopped working properly. I could only talk on it if I was using my bluetooth headset, which wasn't always convenient. Otherwise using it was an exercise in frustration, with me yelling and only being heard half the time. I got rid of this phone and replaced it with something else. I won't bother with it again.
I wish there were more small but functional phones out there. I don't like bulky smartphones or chunky flip or slider phones.

If you really like texting or taking pictures I wouldn't suggest this phone. t9 is slow and it has no camera. the screen gets scratched up easily. battery life is fine. alright but I'd suggest a better phone.

Look No Further for a Good Basic Phone

Pros: Durable, Big buttons, Great sound, Stylish, slim - fits in any pocket, speaker phone, voice memo recording, bluetooth compatable, big bright display
Tired of the Clam Shell Phones? I am a guy who wants to make CALLS, do a VERY OCCASIONAL text, and on rare occasions, check the weather. This phone fits nicely in my jeans pocket or bib overall pockets, is RUGGED within reason, and works for about 48 hours before a recharge with about an hour of use per day. Voice Message Recoding feature to make out your list of what is needed at the hardware store or grocery. THIS IS THE PHONE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO MAKE VOICE CALLS. No Camera - I have had rare reason to have that feature. Suggest you get a Kodak if you need it. :>)

It is really thin and light. Wish they had it in silver and wish the screen colors green and orange just like the older model "Sanyo 6400". I loved it!

I had to get a new phone after dropping my Katana in a toliet. This was the cheapest phone and I needed a cheap one. Well after about 2 maybe 3 months the receiver stopped working as well. I had to talk very loudly for people to hear me unless I used my bluetooth headset. It was very annoying!

I purchased this phone for my son as a replacement to one that he broke. Will be getting him a different phone in the near future. The texting is so VERY SLOW and can not keep up with and even below average typer. And yes that includes when you use the T-9 text. Would not and will not reccomend this phone to anyone.

I got this phone almost 2 yrs ago. I don't text or use a phone for music, emails, or the net. I just want to it to talk. But I do not like this phone. It's too thin making it hard to handle. The battery life is great for me and I only charge it 1-2x per week. I work late & it's dark alot when I leave. The keys are plastic and very small. You cannot see them at all and it's very hard to find the key you need to unlock the keypad. The keypad should light up by pressing any button so you can actually see what you're doing to call somebody. You can't hold the phone in your shoulder and the speaker on it is not very good. The best phone I ever had was a Nokia and this would be 2nd to that. It is durable.

very slow texting

this phone isn't so bad except that TEXTING TAKES FOREVER. It freezes up when you try to do a question mark. It tries to be smart with your sentence structure and guess a question mark but this guessing makes the phone inoperable for 20 seconds. Also, the only way to unlock the phone is by holding the back button. THere's no shortcut key (e.g., menu-9). Lame. But size is good.

This phone is good for making phone calls, and that's really about it. It's slowwwww at texting (especially with T9 word) and the internet takes forever to load. However, it is a good basic phone. I've had it for a year now, and one button has fallen off, but other than that, its really really durable.

Worst Phone I've Had

Stay away from this phone. It will be worth the extra money to get ANYTHING else. I am in the process of receiving my 2nd replacement phone since April. The battery does not make it through an entire day, it is literally falling apart (I mean buttons falling off and battery cover will not stay on), now it will not do anything but flash Sanyo on the display screen,and I also recently found out that this phone has been so much trouble they no longer even offer it for sale in their stores.

I have had Sanyo's in the past, and they have always been my choice until now. The performance is terrible. It drops calls every time I make one. It is terrible. I must not have made many phone calls when I first purchased it or I would have immediately turned it in. I am 'stuck' until I am able to upgrade it. It looks nice, and that is about it. I bought it for use as just a phone, so my expectations for all the bells and whistles was low to begin with. I never used it for anything else. And, now it sits on my counter while I use my daughter's.
