This Phone Stinks

The only thing good about this phone was the price (free). I got it to replace a razor that was broke in an accident. I wanted to replace the razor with another razor but it was not offered at the time. This phone has been a complete disappiontment and I plan to replace it as soon as my current contract is up.

Very basic, not everything works

It serves most of it's purpose. I don't text or anything else but use it for short calls. It does get hot after a short time, thank goodness I don't talk that long.
Speaker phone is a pain to "program", you can't just turn it on , you have to make the call, then go through the process of selections to turn it on. then I get complaints about a bad echo from the person I'm talking to, so I have to turn speaker phone off, so that's a useless feature.
I've programed it so the face, and the keyes stay lit. That doesn't work . I've tried numerous times and can't get it to work. The keyes turn off and you can't see the numbers to make a call when it's night.
My husband has the same phone and the face blanks out at times.
The phone serves us fine enough, we'll use these until they go caput.
Unlike the idiots who text and drive, we have a life.

Solid phone, I got lucky I guess

I have honestly dropped this phone in the toilet TWICE! I cannot believe that I managed to blow dry it out both times with absolutley NO DAMAGE! ...not even on the watermark spot on the battery. (don't tell Sprint...)
Initially, I was a little bummed b/c the original battery wasn't holding a charge very well after only a few months but randomly and I mean RANDOMLY a nice guy at a Sprint store gave me a new battery no questions asked. (if you've ever been to a Sprint store, you KNOW this DOESN'T happen!) I try to avoid the store at all costs and I know I don't have to tell you why! aaarg!
So after the new battery the performance has been great. I drop the thing at least twice a day. I just launched it accross the parking lot yesterday by accident and I put it back together, no problem. Remarkable! I think I may have just gotten lucky with this one.
I have had the phone for 2 years now and I can't really think of giving it up even for a new "free" phone. My charger finally died or shorted out but I ordered a new one for 10 bucks online. Samsung has always been a good product. I've been with Sprint for 10 years now and even though the customer service often sucks and so do a lot of the phones, I have always been impressed with the durabilty of the Samsung. Sanyo is always a piece of crap. LG is highly questionable and I have never had a Blackberry or Motorola but I've never really heard anything bad about them.
I'm sticking with this little trooper for now! ...I don't know that it will take on another plunge into the toilet without protest but I'm going to run this puppy into the ground before I give it up for a new fancy QWERTY crapper I keep reading about.

I hate this phone

When my mom went on a plan with me and my fiancee she told me to get any one and i told her that they had 2 free one and i told her this one look better so i got that one for her and i wish i never did.
first off i have to say wear i live i have to roam and this phone get better roaming in the house then my.
It is always freezing up on me and sometimes it goes to camera when it comes on
And i have to say you can't even be on this phone no longer then 6 min before your face burns this phone gets so hot i hate useing this phone when i have to i can't watie till she gets a new one in Aug and get rid of this one
And the reason i gave the value a 10 was because it was free and that is all it is wroth LOL

This phone serves it's purpose quite well for me. The battery stays charged for good amount of time. I've owned this phone for almost a year and I have had no problem with dropping calls, or being able to hear the other party. So I find this phone very satisfying.

This phone is the worse phone I've ever seen in my life. My boyfriend picked this phone out when I added him t my plan because it was free. I made him return it a week after he got it. Delayed messages, crappy reception, the phone froze EVERY time he tried to text, and the battery only lasted 5 or 6 hours. I'm sure we would have found a lot more problems if we had kept it longer. Needless to say, we took it back and he got the Rant he originally wanted.

Worst Phone Ever

When we signed up for our contract we were basically forced to get two M300's the sales associate told me what a great phone it was, only later on did I find out they were pushing them to get them out of stock. I have had the phone for a year, and I have had nothing but issues with it. It continually freezes up, to the point where I actually have to take that battery out, and half the time it doesn't want to turn on. You can't use the web, unless you have unlimited time, it continually gives me error messages. I would never recommend this phone to anyone and if Samsung were smart they would take this phone off the market.

Not really for texting

I would have to say this phone is for the average guy who just likes to talk on his phone. This phone is only good for just that. The texting is not so great. It does have T9, Alpha, Number, and Emoticons. Thats the only good part about the phone. I am a heavy texter that sends several thousand messages a month. After texting for so long, my phone locks up when you try to type in the word computer. Instead of typing in computer, it types in "am6studs". It makes no sense. I only got this phone as a cheap upgrade for a while. Good thing im getting the rumor not too long from now.
P.S. If you talk for more than an hour or two with full bars, you go down to one or none.

Worst Cell Phone I've owned

I had to buy this phone when I renewed my contract and its been the biggest waste of money ever. When I first got this phone, it kept freezing during text messages so, I took it back and got a replacement...I should have gotten a new phone all together! My "new" one still freezes during texting and will sometimes exit out of a message Im typing if I pause between words!!! The T9 makes up "words" with a combination of numbers like am6e.....huh?? The speaker phone is so quiet and doesn't even sound like its on compared to my boyfriend's Samsung Behold. My battery life is actually pretty good and I dont have too many problems with it, but I was looking for a new phone 3 months after i got this one cuz I was fed up with it and still am! DO NOT buy this phone unless you are simply using it as a phone.

I had this phone for over a year with limited problems then shockingly the sounds began to fail the photos all became blurry and the phone would get blazing hot after a short time of use...I dropped the phone once out of a year span and it completely broke in half it wasn't very sturdy at all..I proceeded to TRY and get a replacement with no luck, no discount and after being hung up on repeatedly by customer service the techinicans recommended Ebay where I bought a blackberry ($50)..HUGE mistake..because when that phone proved to get ZERO service in metro DC (ridiculous) I became frustrated and called Sprint once more only to discover that they had added a "newplan" on my account resulting in a cost of over $100 extra dollars on my bill each month to support the blackberry..I was so frustrated i called again and got a decent rep who credited my charges i never asked for and gave me my overdue premier customer credit..I proceeded get transfered to telesales where a super freindly man assisted me in picking a new phone and with my credit it was only around 30 dollars! Free Shipping etc..Also remember that if the operator tells you you have a credit for a new phone...that when you upgrade online it wont give the discount without calling telesales..it says discount included online which is a mistake..so beware.. I dont recommend this phone...be wary of who you speak with also because nothing is ever "FREE:.

I love this phone for the great price of free. I have had no problems with the sofeware, hardware, texting, for even taking pictures. The phone is lacking in some features, but the proformace of the phone is very good. I have dropped it so many times and it does not break, but get's a scar and lives on. The battery life is ok, but on power save mode, it lasts for a day and a half with me texting on it the whole time. I think that the phone is one of the better looking free phones out there, and looks better than it's big brother the m320. I would not buy this phone again because it does not have expanble media, a really want to take my pictures off of the phone and put them on the computer. I also love how the phone fits in my mini jean pocket, and how the phone can take very good pictures outside, inside it's kinda bad. The phone handles the bright sun on the screen very well and the way the front is glossy it makes a great mirror. Hope to find more people who like the phone, and for the people with problems, update your software in the settings, it;s free and it solves many problems. Trust me!

I still have this phone currently my contract just ended and i havent decided on what new phone i want yet. I never had any problems with this phone. The only thing i dislike is if you text or talk on it alot the battery goes dead quickly. But if i dont use it much i can use it for about 2 days. The text messaging works perfect, never had a problem with it. Its never froze up on me. Overall is a very good phone as long as your not looking for a phone whos main use is emailing.

This is the kind of phone that you can have nightmares about. If all you do is talk and don't try to text or use the web or download anything or take pictures, it's a great phone for you. Unfortunately I do all of the above and I can't wait to upgrade to something better.

Im so angry. this is the WORST phone of my life. Its true nothing is free, because im paying for trying to get a free phone. very ignorant on my part. i love to text but this phone is terrible for it. T9 is miserably insane. And taking pictures on this phone? forget it. the focus is so far off. This phone is very cheap and can easily be broken and i take very good care of my phones. as far as features go theres not much of anything to talk about. This phone gets hot really quickly during texting, talking, or even just browsing my phone. But what im most upset about it the fact that i will have to stick with this phone for two years?! Sadly, i dont think i will be able to wait till my two year contract is over. I HATE THIS PHONE! Man, i cant wait tfor my upgrade.

Text Messaging is USELESS

This phone would, for me, be your average cheap cell phone. EXCEPT! The text messaging program is so full of bugs that it makes the thing pretty much completely useless. My husband and I unfortunately both have this phone, and both of them have the same problems, including: FREEZING THE PHONE ENTIRELY whenever you try to type a word with punctuation in it (or any punctuation at all, really, unless you go out to the "symbols" menu and hand key it), inserting random words into your text message, sometimes AS YOU HIT SEND, creating some interesting unintended messages. It also doesn't have some very, very common words in its T9 dictionary, and prioritizes extremely bizarre made up words over real ones.
I LOATHE this phone and will be getting a new one the millisecond my contract is up.

This phone is SUPER cheap; both in price (when starting a new plan, after discount) and in manufacturing standards! My phone literally broke in half within a month of getting it, and I am extremely gentle with my phones! I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone! Your money would be put to better use if you went and simply threw it into a wishing well.
