Not bad for the most part...

I have had this phone for oh i would say probably about a year or so. For the most part it works good for me. Texting is easy to use. The pictures dont turn out bad as long as you have lighting. The music player doesnt work half the time though. The memory card slot gets bent easy so therefore i can never have a memory card in it. I do find i have problems getting service with it but thats a problem with alot of the phones i have had. The towers arent the best around my job and where i live. This phone is better then the razor i had b4 i can say that for sure. Over all its not a bad phone to have.

Sad...

I loved this phone at first! i thought it was very cute.
Now though I just keep having problems with it. It will randomly turn off and on for no reason. It dows it a lot when im talking on the phone. Sometimes it even just turns off in the middle of the night when i have it plugged in charging. The alarm sometimes doesn't go off so it makes you late to class. I can't wait to get a new phone. I have to wait til September and I almost feel like paying to cancel it because I'm tired of it.
Txting is annoying when you get errors for no reason and I have been told from friends that they left me messages and yet I never got them.
It has made me very sad when I was so excited... :(

This phone was cool at first. I could get lots of face plates and stuff to make it look cool. Then came time to use it. Sending photos is a joke and a half. texting is fine. sound on ringers and music horrible. nice big screen on inside is about the best part of the phone. Will not get another and will not recommend to anyone. I gave myine to the kids when I upgraded. They hate texting on it 9and they are really good and fast at it). They do not like the phone at all.

This phone is not for me!

I got this phone as a replacement after I refused to accept another Razr and I have 5 mos until the end of my contract. It cuts off and powers up in the middle of conversations. The ringer is not very loud so I must usually use a bluetooth. The phone is cute, but the flat keyboard make it hard to use unless you are looking directly at it. Texting is difficult and switching between applications can be challenging.

its ok if your looking for an inexpensive phone but it sucks to text because the keypad is flat. i find that mine freezes alot and to hook it up to charge is a chore itself.

This phone is bad with texting. it sometimes takes me 30 mins to recieve a text message. Also i have problems with sending texts too. I will Often get this error display and i have to try to send it a few times even with full service.

I purchased this phone mostly for its design as well as its features . I am very disappointed with the phone's text messaging capabilities. It's not text user-friendly at all especially when the t9 option is used. The vocabulary is limited and you end up having to type the word anyway. When I have to use symbols or numbers, I have to get out of the message screen, select the symbol OR number option, go back to the message screen to type the symbol/ number, then go back once again to select t9. I purchased this phone mostly for its design as well as its features and reviews when it first came out middle of last year i think. Now, I am very disappointed with the phone's text messaging capabilities. It's not text user-friendly at all especially when the t9 option is used. It's not easily accessible. Next, the keypads are flat and sometimes it's hard to type messages. Also, I have some issues with this phone when i place a call or in a middle of the call. One time the call was disconnected so I had to redial the number. It just so happened that the person im trying to call was also calling me back at the same time. So when i tried to press the green button to answer, it does not work at all! It just keeps on ringing despite my several attempts to answer the call, even by pressing each and every keypad. This happens too often and one time I got so frustrated, I had to open the phone and take out the battery just so it would turn off and stop ringing. Would not recommend this to anyone :(

I hate the key pad. the pad is totally FLAT - no way to navagate it with out looking - and even then, I sometimes miss the intended keys (I do not have large fingers) the key pad also does not light up, so again it is impossible to dial even a speed dial in the dark, since the keypad is totally flat. no bumps or raised definition lines at all. I hate this phone.

This was one of the worst phones i have ever purchased 9 out of 10 times it don't ring or when you try to make a call it don't go thru.....the design was ok but it is not what the customer service reps say.....I will never purchase a phone like this

This phone wasn't a very good phone. I've had my phone for nearly a year now and I've had many problems with it. I get error messages often times when I try to send text messages and have called to try to get it fixed, but it continues to give me error messages. I've also had problems with it freezing up when I try to send texts and the only way to get it to stop is by taking the battery out. I hate the fact that the phone isn't very durable, I've scratched mine to pieces and have givin it minor water damage. I went to get my phone fixed, and the people ended up breaking it in half. I recently dropped it and now the screen doesn't work. The screen randomly quit working on me the other day, then I dropped it and it fixed, now it won't work at all. I also cant stand the fact that when it's on the charger, it wont vibrate. Many phones do that, this is one of my first phones that hasn't done that. This phone could've been made to be a lot better of a phone and got more customer satisfaction.

bad, but better than the m300

after only one year my "one beep" mode does not work, rather, it does the ringtone at normal volume; several deep scratches, "volume up" button does not work any more, and part of the trim on the bottom is missing. on the positive side it takes amazing pictures and the microSD slot is a great feature. this is a good phone to start out with, but upgrade as soon as you can

I switched from a Pocket PC phone to this Samsung M510 because of the lighter-weight features and convenience of accessing the music, tv, and GPS navigation. This phone (after 7 months) was not able to handle the memory required for the navigation function. Therefore, I was disappointed since I was not eligible for an exchange or an upgrade through Sprint. I do not recommend this phone if you are looking to buy. The battery-life is not good if you listen to music or watch tv often. Also, the charging outlet and the headset outlet are both located in the same hole on the phone. So if you have a low charge and would like to use the headset, you can not do both at the same time.

Poor Engineering planned obsolescence

This phone is worthless to me, due to poor customer support when honoring so called "warrantee". Samsung wanted to charge me about $90. to "repair" a phone that was only 4 months old when it stopped working. The phone is engineered so poorly, that if you even lean against it when in your pocket, will ruin the front screen and the phone will begin to get hot. The design places the outer screen at such an angle on the bevelled phone that it is the first part of the phone to make contact with an object you might lean against. Will never purchase another Samsung product due to their unwillingness to honor their warrantee.

I HATE IT

This phone is awful. I loved the phone when I first got it, the color was nice and the collor was beautiful. After about a month or so it just stop performing. I have been on this company for 6 months and I am already having to get a new phone. The next time I will be more caution on what i get.

Can't Stand It!

I've had this phone three months. I have the pink color. It looks more fuschia than pink, because of the metallic finish. It isn't a bright color. Its slim design is very nice.
I don't like this phone, because the keys aren't placed in a recess. In other words, there isn't anything separating the keys.
When I first recieved them (ordered two), I accidentally accessed the internet, because the keys are to close. I had web accessed turned off, because each time I pressed the web button, accidentally, I was charged before I actually was online and I didn't know I was being charged. The charges were on my bill.
I like all of this phones features, but I can't afford to use them, especially when, accidental web connection is charged without my knowledge. The ringer is to low. I've never used the media software. I gave it a one rating, because I could not submit this rating without checking a number in the dropdown box.
I sent one of the phones back to Sprint and the one I still have will no longer be my primary usage phone. I'm going to use my old LG PM-225

I love this Phone

I've had this phone for nearly a year and there are only two problems I've had with it. I had issues with the phone restarting itself upon start up because of low signal. Secondly I hate that the first picture you receive on picture mail is mini; its hard to see detail. As far as battery life goes its about normal for phones these days. Texting all day 17 hours worth with no calls leaves you with about one bar, but also I've texted all day and made phone call for an hour and the same result. Phone calls lasting 3+ hours kill your battery with or without bluetooth. All in all the best phone I've had in the last 8 years.

Very disappointed with the T9 on this phone, cannot guess 2 letter words, very limited dictionary for being the "power vision" phone at the time I bought it. numbers are impossible to use if the phone is not illuminated and the "click wheel" for in-phone navigation often clicks buttons around it (including back, send, end, etc)
Cannot wait for the Samsung Instinct

It's ok for the time being. I just don't like the keypad. The keys are not detailed and I always have to look to make sure I am pressing the right key.
