wow this is the worst phone ever

I hate this phone so much. I've had it for awhile and now it won't let me connect to internet . The signal when ur making a call always fades, the texting is ok but sometimes u don't get ur texts for awhile. The battery is the worst thing on it I can have it off the charger for and hour and I already have to plug it up again jus because it has went completley dead. I do not advise anyone in this world to get this phone if u do you'll be in for a big disapointment I promise.

I have had this phone for two years. Battery life on this is bad! only 2 hrs talk time and it gets confused on how much battery you have left. it goes from 3 bars to 1 bar and back to 2 or no juice. I was soo upset that i ended up snapping the phone in two pieces.

The Upstage is a great concept phone. Full of nice features for that all-in-one feel. The phone comes complete with an extended battery that is slyly hidden inside the nice pleather case that is included with the phone. As far as looks and concept go this phone is a great looker and will keep people flipping it over and like those "how to keep a stupid person busy" keychains.
However when it comes down to the most important part of the phone, the actual performance, there are many flaws that I will detail for you. I have owned this phone for almost a year now and it is the biggest mistake I have ever made. First and foremost if you get into one of those weird oh i missed this persons call so i'm gonna call them back and you put the phone up to your ear and it starts vibrating in your hand cause they just called you at the same time as well... (i hope you understand what i'm trying to say) the phone will lock up, and you'll be unable to turn it off, answer the call, ignore the call or do anything until the call has gone to voicemail.
The flip side of the phone with the touch buttons is absolutely the most horrible thing i have ever had to deal with on a cell phone. The touchpad is far far too sensitive and the "back" button is just below the --> button so you try to navigate to the right and oh you're back a menu, same for the left except that one is the end key. You can only read texts once on the front, but after you've ended it you have to flip the damn thing over and go through the menu to get to it again.
Overall this phone is terrible. I could go on all day about it. It is definitely a stylish phone and will again, keep people occupied for a while, but you'll be more annoyed with the stupid thing than its worth.

Don't buy this FON

Don't buy this FON! I've had trouble charging from day 1. I had to BUY a replacement after 6 months for $50 because I tried charging and it blew the phone. I have trouble with the display (it fritzes out, like it's shorting out). The signal is terrible--worse than my previous phone that was over 5 years old! If I lose a charge, the phone possesses itself, and makes noises for hours until it charges itself enough to recognize the fact that it is actually hooked up to a charger.

This phone had been nothing but trouble from day 2. It is very difficult to navigate and the touch screen is VERY touchy... too much so. I have had to make numerous trips to the Sprint store and they have had to reissue this phone to me twice so far because of problems charging. I want a different phone... NOW!

I have been waiting for my upgrade to get rid of this phone, it is not worth the money or the time you will spend getting pissed off. I am not even going to attempt to sell it I will gladly give it away !

The sales person did not tell me that this phone was sold more for the MP3 feature rather than the service. I was very disappointed in the phone because only certain menus were available on the small screen; you always had to flip over the phone to use the other menus.

The phone is not practical. I makes you sound muffled when you attempt to talk hands free. It's way too small. The idea of it flipping seems cool initially, but is more of a hassle than anything else. Overall, just not a wise investment

I really hate this phone the buttons suck they are falling off and texting just way slow I did not have any problems with talking with any one but you have to hope you can get someone to fix everything else on the phone and for the price of this phone this phone should of lasted a lot longer then 9 months don't you think

I have troubles with it inside in certain areas. Not sure if it's the phone it's self or the coverage inside of my home. It does get very hot while talking on it for more than 10 minutes. It's great if you like/love to text or check your mail. Not so sure about using it to talk. Very small, which may cause the "troubled hearing" on both ends. I think it's good for people who don't talk on the phone so much.

I just got this phone and yeah it looks nice and all but it gets hot very quickly when talking on it. Also its almost to small to handle, and when talking other persons voice can be muffled. just not impressed with it, im already looking for another phone to replace this one.

Hot phone, not sure why it received such negative reviews! This phone probably should have an age specification/ratings like between 15-33 years old only. I think all phones should have ratings. ANYWAY!
I only bought the phone for the music aspect but everything about the phone is cool. My only issue is the switching from front to back whenever I want to send text. Still it's better than a lot of other phones on the market. Just pop in a 4 GB Micro SC card and you are good to go. Be careful not to drop your phone....like most phones it will crack so use the protective carrying case. Overall a good buy and I'm still luffin it way better than my last phone!

I was intrigued by the thought of having my music, phone, camera, etc. all together with the slim look of the phone I thought I was getting a great product for me, I was wrong!!!! The phone freezes up all the time, the touch pad, stopped working and I had to trade it in twice, now my internet stopped working. When the touch pad quit I lost all my pics that were sored in the phone, all my texts, and everything else you need to access from the music side!!!! It definately wasn't worth even the dicount(rebate) price I paid for it!!!!! Also, unless you buy an additional micro chip, it only holds about 12- 15 songs, bummer!!!

This phone is as rugged as shit, but its just not for me. Its way too small and I never use the music. But like I said it is rugged. I have dropped it in the toilet(dont worry it was the only thing in there) still works, dropped and drop kicked a bunch of times and is very compact, plus it has a ton of features.

When I first bought this phone I was super excited about the flip feature of this phone. Although the flip feature is intriguing, it is not practical or user friendly. The phone is way to small that you must use the battery case to keep from misplacing or dropping the phone. With the battery case on, the leather flap hits you in the chin, and you look like you have a Zack Morris phone from afar. The battery life is so short that with out the case it is drained with one long phone call or hour of texting. The touch screen is frustrating, and constantly messes up preventing you from getting you where you need without multiple attempts. I live in the Ozarks and I hardly get reception. If I do get reception I am roaming or my calls are dropped constantly. I could go on for ever speaking on the flaws of this phone without saying one good thing.

Should be an embarassment to both Sanyo and Sprint. Headset volume is the pits. Bluetooth connection comes and goes. Reception is marginal. Keys stick. Once again, listening to the advice of the employees in a Sprint store is about the dumbest thing you can do.

This phone is the worst phone I ever had. The idea of swithcing from one side to another sound cool at first. The problem is, everything can't be access from the same side. If I mistakenly press end when I receive a text message, I have to flip it over to get to the new text. Sometimes the touch portion freezes up.
