Pros..Love the slide out keyboard i like that i have the option of using on screen keyboard or slide out. Had to get use to the navagation of it all but i figured the phone out with out the book. Phone is user friendly and simply amazing. Cons...I hate the battery... right when i pull it off the charger i lose some life, but i dont talk on the phone that much so its doable for now. I had the Instinct but now im caught in the Moment, love it. It does everything i need it to do and more. It should come with a spare battery in my opinion but im sure there will be mods on it.

Phone is excellent except the battery. Battery dosen't last a half day/ After 20 mins of usage, you have a only half battery cell left for usage.

Great Phone!

This is my first "smart" phone, and I really like it. The battery life was very low right out of the box, but it is improving with use.
At first, I was disappointed that I could not download my contact list from my wireless backup, but I quickly figured out that I could just bluetooth them off of the old phone. What's even better is that now all of my gmail contacts are continuously synced, so as long as I stick with google phones, I will always have access to my lasted contact list.
I was able to get it to connect to my mac laptop by using the USB debugging option by going to "Development" on the "Applications" menu from "Settings." I transferred my music with all of my previously created playlists and they work great!
All in all, I am very pleased with this phone!

This is one of the best phones I have ever had by far and I have had alot of phones with sprint, I also had a iphone at one time. The battery life is not that bad, love the android market, I was debating on the moment or the hero and I ended up getting the moment because it has the keybord. You wont be disappointed if you get this phone its worth it. The only CON I have about this phone is that they dont have any cases out yet so hopefuly they will come out with some soon.

I absolutely love this phone. It has made my need for dragging my laptop around obsolete! The best thing I like is the keyboard. I hate onscreen keyboards(which it has that also) so having a "real" keyboard is great! The toggle is great also to prevent fingerprints. I love this phone!

Great touchscreen phone

Cons: Bulky
I love touchscreens but have trouble using them. The Moment has the best interface I've used. Large bright screen, easy to hit the right icon, responds to swiping and flicking movements just as I expect. And its quick; I don't wait on the phone to catch up with me. My 1st phone with Android - it was very easy to learn, easy to configure to my tastes. Great set of apps available. I really like the e-mail's interactivity with the Gmail web site. Actions on either the phone or the site are mirrored almost immediately. Call quality has been excellent.

CONS:Battery life, Camera has no options, Volume level to low, Speakerphone calls sometime muffled,Android OS 1.5 would of like 2.0
PROS:Vibrant AMOLED display, Slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 800Mhz processor, solid sturdy, great applications, Very easy to use.
I've had the phone for 3 wks is by far the best phone I've owned.The vibrant display is smaller than the iPhone's but still large enough to comfortably navigate, colors and graphics pop right off the screen. The slide out keyboard is great fo me since I have big fingers this makes it very easy to text, beside I really can't go all touch screen.The interface is very easy to use even without reading the manuals.The camera take pretty good quality photos and the flash is excellent. But I'm a little disappointed with the dearth of editing options on the moment's no self-timer, a zoom, or even image size,you only can adjust the video quality and activate the flash.I guess I'm ok with it since I didn't buy the phone to take photo or videos. The call quality is quite good with a strong clear signal.The volume level could be louder I've had trouble hearing when talking on a busy street or places with lots of background noise. As far as the speakkerphone calls are average sometime the conversations are muffled so I find myself talking on standard call mode more often than not.The battery at first didn't last but a few hours, I had to charge the phone every 3hrs. I recently found that if you turn off the the Wi-Fi & the GPS when not in use and you condition the battery a couple of time it will last longer, I'm now recharging every 12hrs. All and all the phone is a great phone the 800Mhz processor is very fast,faster than my wife HTC hero. Also all the apps and widgets on the market you can fully customize the phone the way you want.

The moment has a short battery life, it iskind of bulky, and kind of laggy. Cool applications, but I didn't find the phone to be very practical. Cool toy, bad phone.

this phone is a great phone. it was a good size and the keyboard really helped me txt. it is kinda confusing to figure out at first but after awile it got eaisier. there for some reason my phone puts all my incoming txt in random places so u hav to find the txt it gets really anoying. sometimes the touch screen doesnt go. but other than those problems its a great phone.

I picked up my Moment 12 days ago. I like the phone itself. Looks great and having 2 kinds of key boards to work with is great. Things that I noticed. When going on to the web is way fast. Infact almost anything I open is fast. Things I have noticed is. Bluetooth. I have a 4 year old head set. I have to keep the head set on and next to the phone. Battery power is not steller but I can work with it to a point. My big problem is Music files. I have the music on my SD card. I down loaded the music from my computer. I can not get the art work or the artist name to show on any of the songs. It just says unknown artist. I have reformated the SD card and reloaded the music. Still the same thing.
But over all I love the phone and will keep it. It is a hard one to beat.

I recently upgraded from a Blackberry curve to this phone. I love this phone and the features it has to offer! The big buttons on the slide-out keyboard are a blessing compared to the tiny ones on my blackberry. My only complaint would be how heavy the phone is! Maybe with the next model lets slim it down a little Sprint.

It's a good phone - Battery life is very low, especially when taking video, on sprint tv or Pandora; kills the battery fast. I would have given it a 5 on media except I found out that PDA/Smart phone like the Moment, dont have a pre-installed link on its menu/pictures to view the hundreds of pics I have uploaded; nor does it have an 'up load' pics option, to save them on line. Now I need to make sure I log in to my SprintPic account and save the pics manually so they dont get deleted. I also dont like that it does not offer a speed dial option - its speed dial is a 'Favorite' button that you need to scroll and find your contact. Feature are great on the phone; easy to understand and use even with out reading the manual. Very fast connection while on WiFi; love it. And my favorite feature - ANDROID MARKET! Would have also like to use the pre-programed application link that Sprint offers, 'HandMark' for Games/Applications, but being such a new phone the SPH-M900 (Moment) is not recognized by this application so cant access any games/applications offered by Sprint. Maybe its just a matter of waiting... What I really like is the keyboard - I dont care how much you try, touch screen keyboard are not perfect. With the side sliding option, you can type with out making correction on what letter was selected or not. Overall, I still like the phone... :0)

this is an excellent phone, i spent some time with the Hero and was frustrated within 20 minutes from how slow it was.
pros: very fast, beautiful screen, Android/market is amazing, keyboard, calls are clear both ways, camera takes high quality photos.
cons: vanilla Android, little buggy(like sometimes i can't mount the SD card because the Moment doesn't detect a USB cable is connected, but still charges, fixed by rebooting the phone).
other:battery life is a little weak, but i can go the whole day without charging it, and that's after an hour or so of surfing, dozen or so text messages. i like the way the Moment looks more than the Hero, but i don't like curvy cell phones, little on the heavy side, but again that's is what i prefer.
bottom line: the Moment kicks the Hero in the teeth, but if you care more about style over function, then you'll want a Hero

I'm not having the battery problems that other people are reporting, but I am quick to shut down any applications that don't need to be running. I like having a physical keyboard despite being comfortable with the virtual keyboard on the iPod Touch. Pages load fast and the interface is zippy, so no complaints there. I also like how grippy the back is. It doesn't feel as chunky as I thought it would, and I actually like how substantial it feels.

I love this phone, it does everything it says its going to do and more. Very user friendly. I can access my e-mail, download music, check the weaather. It's great. I have had no real problems with the battery, I have checked my settings and let the battery die completely and avoided charging overnight. Excsessive usage and downloading will un the battery down. I don't know of a phone that it doesn't. Overall great phone have recommended it to several other people.
