I was excited to get this more contemporary looking version of the Rumor Touch coming from an older Rumor touch hoping that some of my gripes with the older Rumor Touch had been solved with the new version, but even after having gotten used to this new phone, it's reaction time, data, and web response are slow. Most queries end up timing out. Similarly for Facebook queries, i get a lot of time outs. Sending texts and images is really slow.
The previous Rumor Touch had a setup screen to configure your touch to the screen, the new Touch does not have this and there is a lot of miskeying that happens using the touch screen.
My 2nd biggest gripe about this phone is that they removed setting up specific audible alerts on this phone. If you have email linked to your phone, which i have two separate email accounts linked to the phone; if you have audible alerts set-up, YOU CANNOT delegate the audible alert to be specifically email or text. You get 1 alert for all incoming messages, so i had crazy amounts of audible alerts coming in all the time because of text and 2 email accounts, so therefore i had to disconnect them.
ConsDid not meet expectations
No, I do not recommend this product.
