I have only had this device for a couple of months and tend to only need to use it as a backup, in the rare instances I am someplace where other wifi sources are not available or are very weak. I like the fact that you can connect multiple devices, because although it can connect up to 8 devices, we have only connected up 3 at one time, and the connection was still very good. The only thing problem I have had is that it will sometimes take longer than it probably should to connect to a 3G or 4G network, which can be frustrating ... and it will also freeze up on occasion, where you actually have to remove the battery in order to power it off and restart. But that's about it; however if you are in a position where your connection is critical, I would suggest going with a slightly upgraded model.
